This site was developed to support New York State school districts and BOCES in using Google services in compliance with state and federal laws that protect student data. It offers guidance and tools to help educational agencies understand which Google services are covered under the Data Protection Agreement (Core Services) and which fall outside its scope (Additional Services).

To further assist districts and BOCES, the 12 New York State Regional Information Centers will continue to expand and update the available resources. Please check back regularly as new content is added. In addition, your local BOCES Model Schools Program will offer training sessions for educators.
